GOAL:
Originaly founded as Bierhaus International in 1978 as one of the first mail order home beer making supply companies in the USA. Our retail store located at 3723 West 12th St Erie Pennsylvania is still operated under the Bierhaus name. Our goal is to have you spend as little time as possible making the products we offer with more time enjoying the fruits of your efforts.

Number 1 we want you satisfied. The money was wisely spent. The products we offer are products that we use on daily basis. Our brewing/wine area is set up like a kitchen. We make the products that we carry. If we offer a new product. It is something we have tried and liked so we are sharing it with you. Beer/Wine making can be as hard or easy as you make it. If you follow the basic sanitation  procedures and directions you will have success. 

Keep notes on every batch you do. The form I use has Batch Number, Name, Date Started, Date Bottled, Style, Ingredients used, Notes, Boiling times (Beer/Mead), Amount boiled (ie.4 quarts, 6 quarts) Total Batch size (1gallon ,5 gallons) Hydrometer readings.

PRODUCT:
Bierhaus currently offers a wide range beer, wine, cider, mead (honey wine ) and soda pop making ingredients from all over the world. If we do not offer a product you are interested in please let us know. We buy from many different sources and welcome the opportunity to add to the many items that  we carry.                                                       

KITS:
Bierhaus currently offers a basic beer making kit priced at $74.95  plus shipping & handling. Additional items can be added to upgrade the kit such as a 5-gallon glass carboy.

A wine equipment making kit priced at $97.95 .The wine making kits can be used to make the cider kits.

Soda pop can be made in a clean food grade container (2 to 5 gallons) with the soda extracts we sell.
